I’ve learned a lot over the past three years, since I’ve moved to the Bay. About people, human nature, myself, my career and those things in life that we place importance on. I’ve finally started to learn the nature of true friendship, what that means by definition and in practice. I’ve learned the importance of family and how your family keeps you grounded... no matter what the distance is. Blood will always be thicker than water. I’m grateful to have the family that I have. I’ve learned the importance of the work/personal balance, and how to be successful but not engrossed by what I do Monday through Friday. I’ve learned that one must become acquanted with the sights and smells of public urination in order to survive in the city... as well as the ability to dress in layers. I’ve learned to not drive in the city unless you want to be involved in an accident – stick with public transportation. I’ve learned to enjoy yoga again. I’ve learned that I tend to hold my breath when I cross the Bay Bridge. I’ve learned that I miss being able to get to the closest Target store in ten minutes or less (Walgreens??) I’ve learned the importance of having a Starbucks on every street corner. I’ve learned that the grass is not always greener on the other side. I’ve learned that nothing beats a coffee on Union Square during Christmas time. I’ve learned that I really miss my grandfather. I’ve learned to be less judgmental... and to accept daily blessings: To have the open heart and hands to reach out and grab them as they are delivered. The rest, I guess, I’m still learning....

Honest, intelligent people. What you see is what you get with me: no big surprises. I appreciate that trait in others, as well. I guess I'm mainly looking for friends. And since that's where all good relationships start at and end with... I guess it's a pretty good place to begin.
